Serkan ATA holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bilkent University and a master’s degree in finance from London Business School.
Mr. ATA began his career at the Treasury, after having come first in Public Personnel Selection Examination in Turkey and was responsible for the project / program financing and relations with international financial institutions under the Foreign Economic Relations Directorate General between 2006-2014. During this period, he worked for the provision of $ 4 billion worth of credit for energy state economic enterprise investments and for financing the private sector’s sustainable energy projects.
Representing Turkey in the international climate change negotiations, and a party to the Green Climate Fund and Climate Investment Funds’ establishment process, Mr. ATA was also a member of the Technical Advisory Board of the Gold Standard Foundation, an international carbon certification body. Mr. ATA has been continuing his professional life in IC İÇTAŞ since 2014 and is responsible for strategic planning and business development.
Mr. ATA is fluent in English and is married with one child.
